Davis is a lot bigger than we first expected and didn’t truly think he was up to 200 lbs. already. He runs with very good forward lean, but what I like the most about the 2022 back is his decisive cuts in between the tackles. Davis tears up the field with smart cuts. He reads his blocking well. He does miss out on a few cutbacks. Davis has an impressive blend of speed and power. I really like how he drives right through these tackles, no slow down, just looking to blow right through them. Davis is a legit sleeper right now it seems like. With 1700 rushing yards as a sophomore and 70 tackles even and much the same his junior year where he continued to dominate Class A Private. Senior year has been going great in the first game with 262 yards and 4 touchdowns against Walker, let’s see if he can get over 2k yards here in 2021. Through the first 1/3 of the regular season Athens Christian is undefeated and Davis is leading the state in rushing with over 700 yards. Davis is doing everything you look for in a senior that is underrecruited, and that is dominating every moment of the game.
