Good intensity, Stegenga had 3 interceptions on the year and is also a formidable tackler. He makes solid breaks on the pass, pretty good football IQ. Flies to the football but does a nice job of reading the ball carrier from a distance and gets choppy with his feet to relocate quickly to make the tackle. Efficient tackler too, they play him at this SS/OLB hybrid spot. Pretty slight frame though, probably a better fit at FS at the next level.
