What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Starter at QB 3 of the first 4 games of the season, transitioned to DB at the start of Region Play. Has lively arm and can make every throw, but may be better suited as a Big DB that teams are looking for (6’1” 170 lbs.)

Showed excellent range and great closing speed at DB, played both Safety and Corner. Will have an opportunity to compete at QB in Spring. Starting Point Guard on Basketball team, also a member of the Baseball Team.

Evans added nearly 15 lbs. since last fall, and is now around 185 lbs. He’s got some good wiggle to his game showing nice lateral quickness, which certainly helps at CB. Evans does a good job of squaring up on a pass and shows above average ball skills. He has very good top end speed. Evans has a solid frame to work with, and the added weight over the last year suggest that he will be around 200 at the next level, if not more. He shows good versatility at FS and CB. Tackling is a work in progress, would like to see him try to drive his legs through the attempt instead of just hoping his momentum is enough to get the ball carrier down. When he does get a good head of steam he can definitely lower the boom. CB film is continuing to improve as a junior. Going up against Westside he was tested a good bit, and had multiple PBU’s. He definitely fights to get the ball out, raking or attacking the hands of the receiver to break up the play. Tackling is very questionable though.
