Means emerged as one of the top playmakers on Lovejoy this, and through a variety of QB’s he saw good production. The 2019 recruit has a background in basketball, and you can see his 6’3″ frame gives him a distinct advantage, but where he truly impressed is his frame. Means will absolutely pour on weight in college, and can see him getting around 225 with out losing any of his speed. He doesn’t have elite speed, but he can burn most defensive backs, and should be considered a legit vertical threat. I like the awareness he shows of the sideline, and how consistently keeps his feet in bounds. Continuing to hone his route running and working on his agility will help a lot. It’s worth noting Means can also play OLB at the next level, and his coverage skills and size gives some incredible upside on that side of the ball as well. The 2019 recruit has the ability to play at the Power 5 level for sure, especially if he makes a jump in his speed this offseason you can guarantee it.
