Jerome Denson – DT
Southwest-Macon

#58 DEFENSIVE TACKLE

HT: 6’3″
WT: 260
Class: 2020

Denson has not signed up, but at 6’3″ 260 lbs I wish he had. The big man can move exceptionally well for his size, and without a doubt he’s going to continue to fill out his frame and grow into a DT. He needs to improve his motor, doesn’t hustle much after the ball carrier, at least not 100% like he always can. Pretty big on Denson’s upside, considering how well he carries his weight, don’t exactly get the feeling his does a ton of work in the weight room either. Some more work improving his body control and getting more aggressive on film could bump him to an FBS player, but Denson is more a project than anything and not having superior length will hurt him. Must get stronger in the lower body too. Very weak in the hips especially.
