Butler is a good looking athlete moving around the LOS in different situations. He is quick off the football, and is in the backfield before you know it. I like his ability to change directions for a DE prospect. He’s not very strong at the point of attack, needs to really flatten out his back and try to drive the through the blocker. Pretty quick hands though getting off blocks, definitely appears to have long arms. Butler has some legit FBS upside, he has a nose for ball, seems to read the play well, and does a good job slipping by blocks to make a tackle. Butler has some potential as a pass-rushing specialist at the next level and be over 240-250.
