Johnson could very well have more offers, he’s super low key announcing them. Heading into this season, he has some serious hype around his game, and has come a long way since he signed up a year before his sophomore season. Johnson is a weapon, and trying to figure out if he becomes a TE or WR at this point seems irrelevant. With his length, he is an incredible target, and consistently you see him on film make catches with the defender in his area code, but just cannot simply make a play on the football. With McClendon graduating this season (and he really did make a jump throwing) it will be interesting to see how his targets come along this season. Still, the 2020 athlete is a freak, and just learning how to exploit his height still to be honest. He’s got good speed for sure, but would like to see him utilize a stiff arm more often to keep defenders at bay. Johnson is a beast, and a no doubt P5 player. He shows really strong hands, and with a little more time his route running will come along.
