What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Jeremiah is exactly what D-1 schools are looking for. Has the grades, size, speed and athleticism and will sign because of these assets. He's extremely fast breaking on the ball and makes hammering tackles. Is a PICK 6 threat on every play.
Compton plays back at his safety spot reading the offensive play and reacting appropriately. He gets a great jump on the play which demonstrates his excellent reactions, but he also showcases elite acceleration to the ball carrier. He is a textbook tackler and will stuff the ball carrier, which at some points causes a fumble. Compton has elite acceleration and looks like a player that should have a lot more FBS offers than what he currently holds. His senior year he has put together a very productive season, and Camden’s defense has kept them in games including a 0-0 score at halftime vs Colquitt. He doesn’t really have much top-end speed, but has gained 10 lbs in the last year, and considering how quickly he reach his speed, we think he can play strong safety at the next level. Expect him to be closer to 210 in college.
