What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My versatility to play both sides of the ball, I started at WR as a Freshman and Sophomore and now start at both CB and WR. I play football as physical as possible on every snap and use my length to my advantage when I’m playing DB. I’m willing to outwork anyone at my craft and know that if I play hard enough to help us win and restore pride to our community, I’ll have a chance to play at the highest level
Austin has excellent length and put together a good season with 10 PBU’s and 3 interceptions. He has a great vertical jump scoring close to 40 inches. Definitely do not want to lob the ball up around Austin. Really impressed with his acceleration, it’s what you look for in P5 players. Has some good versatility at his size to play any of the defensive back positions, I would even argue that FS is probably a better fit as he could be quicker in the hips, plus you got to his length to play the football up top. Overall, Austin has very good upside, his length at 6’2″ plays a big role in his coverage skills, and he’s definitely a no-doubt D1 football player.
