What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I believe I am a lockdown defensive back who can play both safety and corner and I will give any receiver who lines up in front of me work.

Phillips played safety & cornerback for North Cobb in fall 2016. He does a good job of timing his breaks and rakes the ball out of the receivers hands. He has grown an inch and could continue to fillout and become a safety at the next level. Needs to work on stepping up quick in run support and attacking the ball carrier when he goes into a tackle. Phillips is the top cover corner this year for North Cobb drawing tough assignments like going head to head against Ramel Keyton. He does a really good job getting his hands in on the pass, and reading the QB’s eyes. Phillips has really impressed this season in pass coverage, and it looks like his versatility could land him at either safety or corner. His agility is certainly improved over other years, and he’s getting out of his breaks a lot quicker. We think some local Div schools will be interested in the pass coverage specialist.

Really a solid prospect it seems he might turn out to be a very good player. For now seems like a hard player to evaluate
