Power Clean: 305
What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am humble and I work hard. I compete in the classroom with the smartest of my class. I am not afraid to make sacrifices to become the best athlete and person I can be.
Rivers is strong as an ox, and can already carry defenders at the varsity level his sophomore year. The tough slashing running style is tough for HS athletes to get a hold of. His lower body strength allows him to absorb contact and continue to maintain balance. He’s added good muscle this offseason, and his lifts suggest he has a more explosive step this upcoming season. Rivers has some legit upside, and right now the majority of his reps are at the JV level, but can see him taking that next step. Can easily see Rivers developing into a solid power back at the next level, and depending on how his speed develops, that will have the largest impact on where he ends up.
