Bolton ran for 700 yards and was a nice back for East Coweta. He is almost like a hybrid of Zion Custis and Kirvonte Benson from players we have scouted in prior recruiting classes. The low center of gravity and nice initial burst helps him power through tacklers, especially when he gets his pads super low. Nice forward lean to his run where he gets big chunks of yardage. Bolton is definitely a fire hydrant out there on the field, and can handle his own against some pretty powerful linebackers. He does a good job of reading the hole at the LOS, and definitely has pretty quick feet, but would like to see him continue to work in that respect as there is some slow down when he is changing directions. Bolton is tough for sure. I don’t see how option schools are not interested in his skill set. He definitely has plenty of room to grow in the weight room and is tough as nails. Think he is set for a big senior year and should get over 1000 yards if given enough reps.
