What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Very versatile. I can do it all, I’m a pure athlete. I will change anything and make every down a good play. I’m what every college should want and need. I’m not saying I’m perfect but I’m very confident that I can do what I can do.
Early amassed around 600 yards of total offense last year, I remember watching his game against Troup while the RB situation was still shaking out at Hardaway. What he shows in terms of running skill is a natural ability to make a defender miss in small spaces. He does have great agility, but he can read a defender and has knack at throwing them off balance with subtle moves. He has good forward pad lean, and natural balance allows him to absorb tackles and stay on his feet. He is very tough taking tackles down the middle of the field when making a catch. Early’s running stride allows for him to pick up yards quickly as he hits top speed right off the bat. He’s a nice back, and this year he will get the bulk of the carries so we expect a nice +1000 senior year rushing the football. As a pass receiver he shows some legit promise, and his patience while using his blocks suggests he could be very effective in the screen game.
