Montour operates in tight space, and is very quick coming out of his cut. Definitely a well trained athlete, Montour does an exemplary job of reading his blocks, and you got to like his patience, but also understanding when to hit his foot on the accelerator. He keeps good pad level, and fall forward more times than. Montour is a solid slot prospect. Most of his touches come running the football, wouldn’t mind to see him more at receiver some too. Regardless, the tail end of the season here Montour has been putting up 100 yards per game. He has good instincts for sure, but it’s his balance that allows him to pick up extra yardage after contact, and he doesn’t really have a lot of muscle to his frame either. Montour production and film quality is FBS grade, and we expect those offers to flow during the evaluation period. I think what might hold back his recruitment is the lack of explosive +40 yard plays on film, but he consistently grabs good chunks and you got to like his patience.
