Atchison is really athletic for his size in the class of 2019. He keeps a flat back and really explodes out of his stance, drilling the defensive lineman back. The 2019 recruit has really impressive weight lifting measurements and we would interested to see him play some DT as well. He gets low, and really good leverage when blocking. Atchison should focus on redistributing some of his weight to improve his overall quickness even more. He made a ton of progress over the last year. Coach Saunders has been really big on Atchison over the last few years. Senior year and it’s clear that Atchison is one of the bigger improvers at the offensive line position in his recruiting class. He is just steam rolling good defensive tackles, looking quicker off the football too. Generating good strength at the hips this year, seems like a late steal for an FBS school after he’s been overlooked for so long.
