Williams has legit speed, seriously, go watch his film senior year and the RB is just pulling away from defenders. Truthfully, the smaller back was not completely on our radar, but shows good patience reading his blocks and has the acceleration to go by defenders as if they are moving in sand. He’s added weight in the last year, getting a whole lot closer to 180 lbs. Very explosive with his jump cut, and has a compact body type that runs through tackle attempts. Very good body control in fact. Doesn’t do much juking, mostly relies on good balance and speed to beat defenders around the edge. Williams has an impressive senior year and where he impressed the most was how quick he looked on film. Williams is the type of APB that a lot of colleges sleep on, but will showout where ever he lands at the next level.
