Strothers was a rush end for Sandy Creek last year who plays the game with a lot of passion and intensity. He scrapes off his block quickly and gets into the backfield to wreck some havoc. Most likely Strothers will have to make the switch to outside linebacker but already shows promising shuttle times to make that transition, and he even dropped it from 4.5 to 4.38 recently. We really like his motor chasing after the football and the amount of sideline assisted tackles we have seen is a great example of that characteristic. He is a tenacious ball player who really keeps his energy high, and that hustle is typically rewarded too. The senior just does way too many things right not to play at a competitive level, and the time it would take for him to transition to OLB would be minimal.
