Gaskin is a spark plug linebacker who has a nose for the football and a passion for the game. He was one of the leading tacklers in the state of Georgia last season collecting 166 tackles. The 2018 recruit is a secure tackler with immense strength, tearing the ball carrier to the ground like a rag doll in some cases. Gaskins always finds a way to be a part of the activity. His ability anticipate the play is a major reason why. The 2018 middle linebacker shades toward the play almost immediately at the snap, which makes him very hard to fool, especially in the screen game, where cleans up tackles out in the flats rather easily. Colleges will shy away due to his height, but whoever goes after him will be getting a natural born football player. Just proving that, this year he is playing a lot at running back for Coffee picking up the tough yards and breaking arm tackles with ease. He could play B-back for an option school too.
