Thrash had one of the best seasons last year in Troupe’s pass-happy offense that was near the tops in Georgia in passing yards. The 2019 recruit thrives off bubble screens where he can utilize his blocks and hit full stride out in open space. He has a deceptive style to him, and seems to smoothly pass by the defensive back as he runs a deep route down field. Thrash does a nice job of gauging the ball, and seems to react to the pass mid-flight quickly. He has a pretty quick step, and against some talented corners he was able to blow by them and turn 30 yard gains in +50. That’s noteworthy, and his ability to consistently hit the long play says a lot about his skill set heading into the next level. I would like to see thrash continue to work in the weight room, really honing in on core strength and building up his hips. Right now he is a vertical threat, but with more work he could become a really good route runner at the next level. Thrash makes a lot of small plays for his team, seems like a good all-around team player.
