Hatcher is a lengthy free-lancing safety who plays with a chip on his shoulder. He gets low to the ground on his tackle attempts, and we see nice loose hips, which allows him to change directions on a dime. His headhunting mentality makes him perfect to play in a zone but we also saw him mark players in man coverage and stick to them like glue. Hatcher plays the deep ball well and on film he routinely high points the ball for an INT/break up. Another aspect we like about Hatcher is how quickly he gets off his blocks.
