White is just oozing with upside at 6’4″ and 245 lbs. He does a solid job of setting the edge and has pretty good strength already. White has a legit frame to work with and could easily end up growing into a DT at the next level. His production was okay his junior year, didn’t exactly dominate but showed good flashes too. White is a decent tackler who uses his arms more than our liking, but does a good job of keeping his legs and driving for 5. Overall, White is a legit FBS caliber looking recruit but interestingly no one has offered. It seems like most of his highlights came against Rockmart, so perhaps he was injured and the lack of public film from Rome during the season has probably stalled out his recruitment, or maybe it’s just academics. Either way, we’ve seen players with less talent land FBS offers, so if grades are the problem he will eventually end up with some offers, it just might take another year or two.
