What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I believe that there are 3 traits that make me stand out as a future collegiate athlete; Tenacity, Versatility, and Adaptability. I play with tenacity that is born out of the will to succeed. I am a versatile player on both sides of the ball. Lastly, I am able to adapt to whatever environment that I am in. I am willing to play a different position to help my team win. Regardless of what is being asked of me, I always try to adapt to the demands and yield a high output.

You can already hear what doubters will say about Leary. He’s too small, doesn’t have the top end speed to excel. His production last fall proves he can be a reliable football player at the next level. Leary can flatout play the game too. I like his ability to see cutback angles and looks good timing his cutbacks. He rushed for 1600 yards and also had 60 tackles + multiple interceptions, as well, so what you are getting in Leary is just a natural that you can plug and play at multiple positions. He shows really good balance, which might be his top overall skill set. Nice weight lifting improvements this offseason, especially the 40 lb increase on his power clean.
