Jefferson County always has good athletes and Walters is no exception. The 2019 DB is an all out hustle player. He gets after the play right away, seems to have and outstanding reaction to the play and knack at reading the QB’s eyes. His lateral quickness is pretty bad, and will absolutely have to play FS. He shows a wider frame, and looks like Walters could end up around 200 lbs. He’s tenacious at raking the ball out of the receivers hands, and doesn’t just seem to go for the big hit all of the time. Walters is just a natural athlete with above average coordination. He seems to be a great fit for a team that runs zone heavy schemes. I would like to see him turn his head around on some of these deep passes. The 2019 safety does a quality job of tackling too, seems to wrap up around the waist and is consistent with his pursuit angles.
