Broom takes on oncoming blocks with a lot of aggression and once he gets through he makes a strong fundamental tackle. Expect him to play MLB next year and it could really fit him well with his almost 6’3″ frame. Broom has very good size to play FBS football, and has made some really nice improvements in the weight room over the last few years. He’s now up to 215 pounds, and showing more explosiveness when hitting. He has a rich family tradition playing football, and is a born leader for his squad, which has unfortunately seen a good bit of player transfer to other HS’s. Broom has also increased his role on the team and now playing a lot of h-back. He plays the game with a ton of energy and just thrives on contact.
