What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My respect, my manners towards my elders, and my athletic ability.
Gates is a road grader who is playing with a lot of energy this year. He keeps a flat back and just caves in his side of the line of scrimmage. We really like his potential sliding over and playing offensive guard at the next level. Not sure what his grades are, but Gates looks like a senior that could really emerge this season on college prospect boards. His Thomson team will be one of the top rushing teams in Georgia this year, so he will have a lot of film showcasing his abilities. We want to see him continue his high-energy level of play, and think FBS schools will be interested this fall.
