Seagraves was pretty dynamic at receiver considering his limited targets. With just 27 receptions on the year, Seagraves had 9 touchdowns and was right at 500 yards on the year. There is no question that the 2024 prospect is a D1 caliber prospect. That has been evident since we first saw his film sophomore year at defensive back, which that position could still very well be a great fit despite mostly all of his film being at receiver his junior year. Seagroves has a great frame to add weight. He does a really nice job of rotating his hips over and squaring up on the football high pointing the pass quite exceptionally. We would like to see him improve his acceleration into his top speed. That starts with his release, which needs to improve, but also just becoming more explosive getting upfield. Seagraves really has the frame you look for at the free safety position at the next level, and considering a lof his attributes on film at receiver, plus the knowledge of him playing CB in the past, his defensive prospects are promising. Overall, we expect his recruitment to pickup down the stretch during his senior year.
