Walls is the son of the OL coach over at Parkview, and was just under 300 lbs. even back when he was a freshman in HS. Obviously, he is pretty well coached showing a good kick step in pass pro. Keeps a pretty flat back while blocking drives his big legs through the defender to knock them off the ball. Not going to see him pull too much, in fact, Walls could stand to loss a little bit of weight – update – he’s now down to 285 lbs. – and work on his flexibility as it was. Lower power clean number confirms what I’m seeing on film too. Tough player that is certainly on a lot of P5 team’s board right now. He gets pretty low when he is run blocking but would like to see him get better leverage at the same time. Probably going to be an OG at the next level. Production was solid hi junior year. Solid D1 caliber OL, whether he lands G5 or FCS is up to his senior film IMO.
