“All Region First Team 2017, SDE
Overall athlete
SDE and Tight End”

Stanton has upside, and just watching him get off the football and play the read option you can see his potential at the next level. He does a nice job of pursuing the ball carrier. He plays with strong hands, comes from the backside a lot. It looks like Stanton has pretty long arms, and he uses that to get off blocks. I really like what I see from Stanton, and think with more strength training he can become a ball player at the next level. If he takes a jump athletically than I think he can play at the FBS level for sure. He’s gained nearly 20 lbs this offseason, that’s a good jump in fact. Will also get some TE reps this fall.
