What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m a varsity starter for both football and baseball, president of my class, member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.
Buckley made some nice plays in the state championship game and was a recruit that caught our eye. He plays with a ton of aggression, very physical getting off blocks. He seems like a perfect fit for the nickle role at the next level. He has above average speed, and even quick football IQ too. The 2019 recruit does a great job of setting the edge and pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit. Crazy-high motor. Buckley seems like a no-brainer for most FCS schools, and can see academy schools being interested considering his grades. I think his physicality getting off blocks is perfect to stop spread offenses in this day and age and only question is his coverage skills at this point.
