Barczak transferred over to Starr’s Mill his junior year and made an impact at both defensive end and some tight end as well. The 2020 recruit has always been a tough football player and someone with a frame to work with. He’s added about 20-30 lbs over the last 15 months. Barczak probably is a better fit at OLB/DE role at the next level. He uses his length pretty well to get off blocks, but would like to see him develop his swim move too. At tight end he is pretty physical, and shows solid film knocking pretty solid defenders off the football. The 2020 recruit has to continue to hit the weight room but definitely a tough well coached athlete. Played on a state semifinalist team his senior year, and was pretty active getting into the backfield and making tackles. Barczak has a big motor and will stay in pursuit of the passer until he is down.
