Lee finally got legit varsity reps this fall after playing a little on defense as a junior. He has used his speed to blow by defenders for big plays in 2018, his track background finally showed out on the gridiron, and showed glimpses of what he can be at the collegiate level. When he gets into the open field it’s not just his speed that makes a difference tho, but his elusiveness to throw defenders into poor tackling angles. He looks much thicker this year too, and has been even getting snaps at RB. Definitely impressed with his progress in basically every departments as a football player. He’s been very productive as a senior, and his versatility on offense looks like an asset being able to catch the football and run it. More than anything, with a player that has improved this much in just one year, it indicates that he is a hard worker, and really wants it. Lee has legit upside a spread all-purpose back with good acceleration to turn the corner and get up field quickly.
