What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I'm a multi-sport athlete who is highly competitive. I believe my technique, high football IQ, confidence and most importantly my faith in God will allow me to play on Saturdays.
Yates flows to the ball and sees the field fairly well. He is quick and looks to possess solid fundamentals already at the cornerback position. He does solid job of playing the pass and locating it for the most part. Yates needs to continue to pack on weight and work hard in the weight room. For his freshman class, he showcases skill that are above the norm, so that alone should put him on college recruiter’s radars. Yates has good grades and excellent test scores as well. He has really good football speed, closes quickly the receiver, and finishes his tackles. He has a very solid sophomore year, but heading into his junior we are expecting a bigger jump in the weight room and on the field as a major varsity contributor.
