Wilson burned several D1 caliber cornerbacks in the area over the last season, and had a really good senior year overall. He was the leading receiver at Norcross with 805 yards and 10 touchdowns. Wilson is pretty elusive after the catch, needs to work on acceleration, but there is some natural wiggle to his game. He does a nice job of setting up the defender in the open field and is effective at making them miss. Fundamentals need to improve – release cleaned up, but his pretty light feet coming out his breaks gets him wide open at times. Pretty good concentration hauling in the pass and makes a few tough ones with the D all over him. Strong hands – high degree of difficulty catches. At 6’1″ and 205 lbs, he has excellent size to be a tough matchup at the next level, and has the talent to roast a defense from intermediate to short range. Really like his potential in the inside slot at the next level. He is a late steal for a college, there has been solid D1 interest throughout his recruitment, and was the best receiver at a school that played a very tough schedule in 7-A.
