Terry is responsible as the back line of the defense playing a deep safety spot more times than not. At the same time, he does a nice job of reading the play and jumping downfield in run support. He has the versatility to line up over the slot receiver and stick with them in man coverage – doesn’t have super quick hips, but has urgency getting turned around and sprinting up field. Terry has above average length it looks like, and his rangy body type closes in on all ball carries really well. I would like to see him square up on his tackle attempts more, and really drop his hips and explode through most attempts. Arm tackles will not fly at the next level. Still, a good looking prospect who shows the ability to play the run well and has above average skill set in man coverage. Would like to see him make more plays in zone coverage over the middle of the field.
