What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I'm a player that loves the game of football. I've always worked hard on the field and off the field. I am a versatile player who plays with passion and a lot of heart. I don't talk a lot because my play on the field speaks for itself. I have always played competitive football on the highest level since I was 9 years old. On the next level I will use my competitive edge to help my team be successful not only on the field, but in the locker room, weight room and classroom.
I had 50 total tackles last season (36 solo) and 1 fumble recovery.
Rorey plays the game with a chip on his shoulder and a lot times that shoulder is used for big hits. Rorey has transitioned well over to Brookwood and has been playing all over the field, including nickle. He’s a very good tackler, which we talked about in earlier scouting reports about him playing SS, but we still think his greatest potential lies at CB. His versatility to play multiple positions at the next level will attract college scouts and we expect him to get good bit of attention during the evaluation period. Rorey has put on 25 pounds in the last year.
This rising Junior’s stock is definitely getting greater. The world will know about this young man when he showcases his talent at the MVP camp on June 5th. He’s been invited to S.C.’s elite prospect camp as well has interest from several FCS colleges and with a good showing in these upcoming camps, he will be on the FBS colleges radar also. #Sleeper
Great footwork and he is very aggressive. Works and trains hard. I won’t be surprised at all to see him on the 7A Region 7 All Defensive Team by the end of the season. He’s definitely underrated, but that will change very soon.
