What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

No matter which school I go to I will be the hardest working player on the team. I will spend the most time in the weight room, I will work on what I’m worst at after practice until it’s one of my strengths, and I will watch more film than anyone else on the team

Erickson is one of the bigger athletes in the state of Georgia, and playing the run heavy option offense at Marist you see the 2021 recruit shows good consistency getting to the 2nd level or making a strong block off the edge. He gets pretty low with his blocking, and is quicker than I really expect. He does a pretty good job of keeping his back flat, but could stand to improve his flexibility and overall body control. Erickson can definitely take a jump forward in terms of core strength and could honestly lose a few lbs., which is sure to happen once he gets into a college weight lifting program. He has pretty good hand placement when he blocks, but there are a lot of moments where he is just so low that it’s hard to gauge his potential in a more traditional offense. Which brings back to his pass blocking or lack there of really, and you can see why a lot of G5 programs have taken an apprehensive approach to his recruitment for the time being. Getting into a college camp would be huge for Erickson where he can go through a gauntlet of drills. With the lack of pass blocking film, I’m more apt to list Erickson as an OG.
