What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I know I can compete with the best of the best and my drive to be great doesn’t ever fade. I’m ready for the next step in my football career and I know I’m going to be great and dominate anyone I go against.
Senior year Nelson has been playing a good bit of defensive end. He has a nice frame to grow into that position and become a strong side defensive end. Nelson is fairly agile, and shows nice hip bend coming out his stance. He’s very raw in terms of using his hands to get off blocks and just needs to be playing faster in general. We could see some FCS & D2 schools showing interest considering his upside. Over the last 6 months he’s added 15 pounds and by college could be well over 260.
