Williams first caught our eye after his impressive start to his varsity career at Lovejoy, but last season when he led Hapeville Charter, we saw him really make strides as signal-caller and a leader. He has a powerful arm, and even though he doesn’t run the ball a ton, is a more than capable scrambler. He was one of the leading passers in Class AA and led his team to their first ever semifinals. Williams has a ton of tools to work with to be an excellent dual threat at the next level. He’s really worked on reading the defense in the last year, checks down regular to his plethora of playmakers instead of forcing the issue. He is one of the best all-around players in Class AA. He’s made tremendous strides in the weight room, and we really like how quick he is in the pocket. His release is a lot quicker now, and he is doing a much better job of setting his feet before throwing the football. Williams is a cool customer when under a lot of pressure and the type of player you want with the ball in his hands late.

2016 STATS: 2901 yards passing (175-303), 27 TDs, & 10 INTs

Without a question the best student of the game and would improve any team under center. A “Game Changer” and will compete for a championship in 2018
