What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have played in one of the toughest regions in the state (1-7A) and started both my sophomore and junior years. I believe I have great leadership qualities and I am a very supportive teammate. I am an extremely dedicated player and hard worker. I spend extra time in the off season watching film and working on my game.
Collier was one of the state’s passing leaders this year for his Tift County squad and has 3 years of experience under his belt at the varsity level. He was voted first team All-Region in 1-7A. The lefty does a good job of stepping into his throw and looks really comfortable in the pocket even under heavy pressure. He has good timing with his receivers and plenty enough zip to get the ball out to the sideline. His arm does drop down a little on his release which is a small concern but really like his feel for the game when attacking a defense. Collier would be extremely effective in a pass-heavy offense where he is on the shotgun and his decision making can truly shine. He was hurdler last spring, and honestly his running has made some dramatic improvements. Also, he’s really filling out and gained 15 pounds in the last year since filling out our recruiting form.
