Carder played well this season getting 2nd team All-State and making 15 pancakes on the year. He looks to be a legit 6’4″, and his shear size alone can drive a defender back. He shows solid length with his arms, which he uses to get leverage. Carder does a nice job using his hands, he seems to have a good concept of gap control while pass blocking. I would like to see him show more leg drive while blocking. He does a solid job of blocking up field and using his lateral quickness. He is powerful at top and bench presses nearly 360 pounds. Carder help pave the way for a state champion squad, but would like to see him be more explosive with his first step. Good size, definitely a FBS caliber player.
