Hayes has a long body with fast-twitch quickness out there on the field. The 2019 DB absolutely needs to do some work in the weight room at this point but shows a lot promise regardless. He’s a “bouncy” athlete with a smooth back pedal and a quick first step in the direction of the play. Hayes is a 2019 recruit that shows a lot versatility and this year he earned All-Region at his safety spot. Expecting him to land some FBS and FCS offers during his recruitment. I think the biggest improvement from sophomore film is how much harder Hayes is tackling. His quickness and ability to rotate his hips over allows him to cover a fair amount of ground on a deep zone, but also get around a block at the LOS. Given his length we could see some Power 5 schools being interested in Hayes, but ultimately believe he ends up at a local G5.
