Davis is an elite athlete from South Atlanta who is still very raw to the sport it seems. His natural size allows him to cover a good bit of space, but tackling needs a lot of work. His frame gives him a great advantage out there on the field, but needs to be attacking the football whether he is going for the INT or raking the pass out. This season you can see a switch has been flipped, and the big powerful senior has really looked good as a strong safety. He doesn’t always go in with the best form but neither the best intentions. He is really exploding through some of his attempts, and you are seeing progress in his tackling fundamentals, and that alone is promising. Davis a great athlete, he shows an explosiveness to his game and given his natural size he should really attract colleges of all kinds due to his upside. He could even grow to be an OLB at the next level.
