What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m an aggressive player. I play to the whistle every snap. I’m an unselfish player, I’d rather see my team win than myself. 7aaaaa all region team mention 2019 all county team ranked 33rd in northwest Georgia for class of 2022.
Gonyea has already put together a good HS resume making All-County his sophomore year. He is a strong player, and is slowly growing into his frame. Should be about 250 a year from now. Very good motor, gets after the ball carrier even running 30 yards down field to make a play. Does whatever it takes to help his team. Definitely like his aggression and intensity he plays with. Needs to continue to work on getting leverage and using hands to get off blocks. Gonyea has been named County now again as a junior. He’s got an insane motor and definitely works his tail off. The lack of length seems to be slowing down his recruitment.
