McKinney was a starter last year for state runner up Tucker and was the interception leader in his region with 3. McKinney is a really smart player, he does a great job of flipping his hips and sprinting downfield to make a good pass break up. He plays with a good bit of swagger and shows good quickness but where he really stands out is his physical play. He does a great job of getting inside positioning and raking the ball out the receivers hands. He’s not a great athlete by any means, but also needs a lot of time in the weight room, so he has room for improvement. He uses hands really well, and does a great job of jamming the receiver at the line of scrimmage.
