What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Pancake machine, fast off ball

Smith is among the biggest of any offensive lineman in the class of ’25. He’s about an inch taller than last summer standing around 6’6″ and up to 330 lbs. No doubt, he is a huge offensive guard who plays physical with his hands at the point of attack. The big dude comes in with bad intentions, showing pretty good pad level while engaged and consistently good leg drive. He’s powerful with some of the best weightlifting numbers in his class. Seems like working on his flexibility has been a focus this offseason, and just getting lighter with his feet moving laterally. Smith is proficient while run blocking, but his pass-blocking film is lacking. With all of that said, he’s working on the right aspects of his game this offseason. Considering his frame, work ethic, and physical mentality on the field, college programs will be extremely interested in his upside. Smith will be a strong candidate to be All-State his senior year and is a virtual lock to be All-Region after being named 2x already. If I had to guess, this evaluation period will be pretty busy for Smith.
