Just glancing at our prospect list, Ezekiel Theodoris is a 2025 linebacker who checks off a lot of boxes. Solid frame at 6′ and 210 lbs. along with a good GPA at 3.6, the Norcross linebacker is like many Norcross standouts from recent past; a hard worker who is innately in the right spot on the field. The Norcross program does a great job of getting the defenders to fly to the football, and their pursuit after the ball carrier is insatiable. Theodoris has good closing speed and shows D1 top-end acceleration. His good acceleration allows him to break on the football, and make some nice tackles to the sideline in pass coverage. Theodoris changes directions well, sinking his hips and showing light feet as he reacts to the football. The Norcross linebacker keeps after the ball carrier and hustles his tail off to the sideline helping with an assisted tackle. Those kinds of plays are critical, keeping yardage at a minimum. He does a nice job of cutting the distance between him and the ball carrier, Theodoris is a consistent tackler who strikes low and competently takes down established D1 runners in Gwinnett County. With 88 tackles on the year, Theodoris is well on his way to over 100, and he seems like the type of LB you want to develop, especially since he looks pretty fluid in changing direction and has a good motor.
