What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Although football is very important to me, my studies have always come first. I have been named a Scholar Athlete every year of high school, for which I am very proud. As for football, I work as hard as I study. My coaches recognize me for my work ethic, and I am very proud of this, too.
Painter has really good film and it looks like he has been overlooked by college scouts early on due to all the star power on his HS. The senior has good feet and plays with a solid base. He moves well and utilizes his hands excellently to throw the pass rusher off balance. He could play a lot of positions at the next level but his potential at center seems to be the highest. FCS schools are a perfect fit for Painter, he has gone up against some of the best competition in the country, and really cultivated experience in the process. He take that under his belt to the FCS level and be a multi-year starter easily.
Outsiders run blocker and has shown tremendous growth in pass protection. Ethan has tremendous football character in regards to toughness, dependability and work ethic.
