What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My commitment to academic and athletic excellence! I pride myself on the work I put in on the field and in the classroom!!

Turner has a big time motor and really gets after the ball carrier. He looks like a heat seeking missile on kickoffs and plays the game with a big time motor. The junior has made some great progress from his sophomore year, and his athleticism makes him a dangerous threat out on the edge. Turner has great acceleration and he utilizes it excellently to be a menace in the backfield.

Turner is an Honorable Mention All Region, Honorable Mention All Gwinnett County, Gwinnett Touchdown  Club player of the month for October, and was on the Gwinnett county defensive honor roll 4 times this season. He is not only accomplished on the football field but especially in the classroom as a student leader. He has a 4.0 GPA while taking all gifted and AP courses and is ranked 10 out of 450 students at his high school. He scored 1450/1600 on the SAT. He is in a multitude of clubs including 4 honor societies and has started two of his own clubs. The Lanier student also participates in track & field. He was voted Co-Captain with fellow senior Collin Foster. 1st Team All Region 8-AAAAAA,  All County, Scholar Athlete with 4.0 and 1450 SAT, Gwinnett TD Club player of the Month, GDP Player of the Week. Voted Outstanding Leader by peers.

Erick looks very good in this film. Had the pleasure of coaching him in FBU several years ago. With his athletic ability and high IQ. I am not surprised he is a D1 prospect.

This is one amazing young man rather it’s in the classroom or between the lines, definitely that “glue” that holds the defense together. With the ability to make plays from sideline to sideline. The level of intensity and passion he plays with makes him special.
