Engineering the offense for perhaps the best team in 2-A, at least the most talented, is Eric Brown. The 6′ savvy signal caller has good footwork, steps into throws and rotates shoulders over after release. Definitely shows a nice touch around the goalline and can do a nice job of lobbing the pass into the back corner so his receiver is basically the only one that can make a play. Handles pressure pretty well. Brown is an okay runner, needs to anticipate his blocking a little better, and try to create some seams to slip through. Solid base of fundamentals, now needs to work on being a plus athlete, but you can definitely tell that Brown has worked hard at his craft throughout high school so far.
