Harden has been an athlete that we have known about since his freshman year at Lamar, and has always shown the potential to play FBS football. Moving over to Mary Persons, the 2020 athlete has looked great getting behind their talented offensive line. Harden is just so hard to get a hand on, his fluid hips and long running stride just eats up yards quickly. He’s an excellent CB for that reason, and his ability to break on a pass is very impressive. I would consider him to be an athlete at this point. He’ talented with the football in his hands but from a physical standpoint probably fits better as a CB. I really like how physical he is in press coverage, his major weight lifting improvements have made a huge difference this year – probably an 80 lbs difference on each major lift. Tackling needs to be better, cannot just throw your body at the ball carrier. GPA has improved by almost .5 since the last update – everything is trending in the right direction.
